Joe Neumeyer
Co-Founder
Joe is a founding member of Ace Indoor Golf and brings over 10 years of experience in the golf technology and golf simulator industries. Joe’s knowledge and work experience within the industry includes performing installations, customer service, custom simulator designs, and sales. Joe previously held the position of Director of Operations for aboutGolf, Ltd.
Joe was Honorably Discharged from the United States Navy in 1997 and served onboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68). He graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School in 1993 and served as a Chief Reactor Watch. While also holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Park University, Joe worked for Newport News Shipbuilding in the engineering office in Arlington, VA where he worked closely with Naval Reactors.
Joe’s passion for golf and technology eventually led him to aboutGolf where he served in a variety of positions. While there, he learned the golf simulator business from the ground up, which led him to start Ace Indoor Golf in 2012.
Joe was born in Toledo, OH, and after many years away, moved back to the area in 2004. He has been married to his wife, Beth, for 24 years. They have two children, Tyler and Brooke. His passion for sports, in general, and in particular golf, provides a great match for Ace Indoor Golf.
Tom Dewire
Co-Founder
With over 25 years of finance and accounting practice in the private sector, Tom is a founding member of Ace Indoor Golf. After various stints in industries ranging from durable medical, automotive, airline, real estate, and finally golf simulators as the Controller, CFO, or owner, he ventured once again into business as an owner/operator.
His background includes a BA in Finance, an MBA in Operations Management, and an MSA of Accounting from The University of Toledo. After graduating college, he spent 10 years as Controller of Gendron, Inc. in Archbold, OH, before moving to Chandler, AZ to enter the Internet Distribution of the airline industry with America West. From there, he returned to Toledo as CFO of a Tier 2 automotive supplier before entering the golf industry.
Tom was born in Toledo, OH and grew up in Edon, OH before eventually re-settling in Toledo. He has been married to his wife, Carrie, for 29 years. They have six children, each of whom has gone on to college (Nolan – BA, Miami U ’10, MBA Ohio U ’15; Matt – BS The Ohio State University, ’12, MBA Ohio U ’16; Colin – BA Miami U ’15; Nathan – BS Miami U ’17, Abigail – The University of Toledo ’19 and Allison – Hillsdale College ’19). His passion for sports and technology along with the excitement that comes from launching a business has been the impetus for Ace Indoor Golf’s quick rise in the industry.
